Grand Prior´s Palace
Grand Prior´s Palace – since 1780 until 1945, the two-storey Baroque building was standing in the middle of the garden at the Castles´s southwestern wall. It was heavily damaged by the 1945 air raids and only the ground floor´s central part could be saved. The statue at the entrance represents St. John Nepomucene. The Grand Priory was founded by empress Maria Theresia and her equestrian statue, originally a decoration of the Palace, is now in the garden of Bratislava´s Terrace of Artists.
