Jelenská Gastanica - a nature reserve on the western slope of the hill accommodating Gymes castle. Chestnut plantations were established here in 1240-1241 by Count Forgach. There are also 300-400 year old trees here. This chestnut plantation is the oldest artificially planted group of chestnuts, to have been successfully acclimated to the oakhornbeam forests zone.
