St. Michael Archangel Chapel – (Na Vŕšku) – a protected cultural site. The chapel is located in a hill also known as „Na Andrášku“. In the Middle Ages, a monastery of the Franciscan Order stood there, plundered by the Turks in 1552. The present Chapel has been built following an order by Lukáš Breznovič, then Nitra´s Mayor, thankful for surviving the plague epidemic. The Chapel is decorated by stone carvings depicting the Passion of Christ by J.Mézsáros, an sculptor and artist smith native of Nitra.
